WE-ACTx For Hope is a legally registered local nongovernmental organization in Rwanda, providing comprehensive HIV care and support to thousands of individuals. The organization integrates medical services, psychosocial support and income-generation initiatives.
Founded in 2004 and transitioned to a local NGO in 2007, WE-ACTx works with government, donors and other stakeholders to support vulnerable communities.
WE-ACTx combines HIV medical care with extensive mental-health and psychosocial support in its community-based model.
Programs include counseling, support groups, nutrition assistance and income-generation initiatives that help families live healthier and more productive lives.
WE-ACTx provides supplemental nutrition to more than 600 children monthly, including a locally made porridge of sorghum, soya and maize to support children taking daily antiretroviral treatment.

WE-ACTx combines HIV care, mental-health services, nutrition support and youth programs to address health and social needs together.
In collaboration with grassroots partners and the Rwandan government, WE-ACTx has provided Voluntary Counseling and Testing services since October 2005.
Mental-health care is extensively integrated into primary health and HIV medical care, including home visits, individual counseling and group counseling.
